Maintain 6ft distancing where possible

Take the stairs when feasible.
If there are more than four people in the elevator, wait for the next one.
Utilize the largest meeting space possible to maximize distancing.
Consider open air spaces (collaboration areas, lanais) for meetings.

When you are away from your desk, wear your mask

Masks can be temporarily removed in the lunchroom while eating or drinking.

Maintain good hygiene

Hand sanitizer is available throughout the office.
Wipe down common surfaces after use (counter tops, etc.) Wipes will be available in kitchenettes and lunchroom.
Throw away all garbage in designated receptacles.

Wear your HEMIC badge in the office

Everyone needs to badge in and out.
If you see someone you don’t recognize in the office not wearing a HEMIC badge, speak up ASAP.
If you lose your badge, please see HR for a replacement ASAP.

Be mindful of your surroundings & avoid distractions

When walking through areas surrounding the office building:

Use the buddy system and walk in pairs whenever possible.
Do not use headphones/earbuds, avoid texting, and stay off your phone when walking.
Keep bags and purses close to your body.
Maintain eye contact and walk with confidence and assurance.
